Opportunism and New Markets - Sometimes the Combination Lowers Social Welfare

Given our discussion in class today, I thought students might find it interesting to consider the market for cheating on college courses, which has always been there, but which has been going through some innovation as of late.  Consider this little thread from a chat session with an agent at https://www.takeyourclass.com/.  (I got this off a thread on a listserv I participate in on campus.  The person who was in this thread used to be a colleague of mine.)
